Usage
Burghul can be used in pilafs, soups. bakery goods, or as stuffing. In breads it adds a wholegrain component. It is usually an ingredient of Mediterranean cooking.
It has a mild, nutty taste and a chewy texture.

Compared to un-enriched white rice, Burghul has more fibre and protein, has a lower glycemic index and a higher level of vitamins and minerals.
