Usage
Generally used to add flavour to foods. It is an all-purpose seasoning. It is made with sesame seeds, sumac, cumin, pepper, salt, and a blend of herbs including thyme. It has a balance of citrus, woodsy and earthy notes.
The Arabic word Za'atar means thyme.
Often used to flavour breads and bread rolls.
