Usage
Cardamom is essential in a curry blend. Often used in Indian Cuisine. Great with vegetables, fruit pies and in any meat dish.
Medicinal Powers?
It may be beneficial in treating teeth and gum infections. It could cure a sore throat, clear congestion in the lungs.
Fun Facts
Cardamom comes from southwestern India and Sri Lanka.
It is best stored in Pod form because once the seeds are exposed or ground, Cardamom quickly looses its flavour.
When the Cardamom pods are still on the plant, we usually call them "capsules".
